Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by one of our representatives and briefed on your tour. If you are not too tired from the flight we suggest some sightseeing before checking into your hotel in the cooler morning hours. We suggest seeing Karen Blixen's home - made famous through the book and movie Out of Africa. Then we suggest visiting the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage where you can see rescued baby elephants up close. Finally, stop for a quick bite to eat at a local restaurant before visiting the Giraffe Centre or the Nairobi Museum for insight into Kenya's history. Then check into the Fairmont Nairobi and spend the evening relaxing.

Day 2 - Ol Pejeta, Mount Kenya, Kenya

Today your driver will meet you after breakfast and you will depart on a 3 hour journey to the famous Sweetwaters and Ol Pejeta region of Kenya near beautiful Mount Kenya. The journey takes you through the beautiful scenery of the areas historically known as the White Highlands. All meals and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

Day 3 - Sweetwaters Conservancy, Mount Kenya

The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary was established with an agreement between the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) and the Jane Goodall Institute.

Day 4 - Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya

See the great diversity of African wildlife while on a game drive. With the snowy peaks of Mt. Kenya as your backdrop, your safari in East Africa's largest black rhino sanctuary is sure to be as beautiful as it is diverse. Find yourself and the Big Five as you explore 90,000 acres of pure wild with an experienced guide who will share his expert knowledge with you. Venture out there for close encounters with elephants, wild dog, lion, hyena, buffalo, cheetah, rhino, and all the plains herbivores.

Travel back through the scenic highlands to Kenya's bustling capital Nairobi.

Day 6 - Livingstone, Victoria Falls, Zambia

This morning you will board a flight from Kenya to the town of Livingstone in Zambia. Here you can see one of the natural wonders of the World - the mighty Victoria Falls. The cascade is one of the widest in the world when in full spate and is known to the locals as Mosi-ou-a-tunya - which translates as "the Smoke that Thunders". In the evening you can go on a tranquil sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Sip sundowners while watching animals such as elephants come down to drink.

Day 7 - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Today we suggest that you purchase a visa and enter into Zimbabwe as the best view of the cascade is from this Zimbabwean side. We will arrange a guided tour of the Falls through the beautiful rainforest which is sustained by spray from the cascade. You can also stop off and enjoy wandering the curio markets or at an extra cost take a breathtaking helicopter ride of the Cascade which is called "the flight of the Angels".
